We're Nicole and Hazel, the wives behind CHOC Pet Care Services.
CHOC was founded with a simple belief: exceptional pet care is about far more than feeding animals or taking dogs for walks. Every animal is an individual, with their own personality, routine and needs, and we believe they deserve care that reflects that.
Our experience has been shaped by years of hands-on involvement with animals. From rescue work and veterinary work experience to caring for our own wonderfully eclectic family of rescue, rehomed and exotic pets, we've developed a practical understanding of the joys and challenges that come with caring for a wide variety of species and personalities.
Animal welfare isn't just part of our work, it's part of our everyday lives. Between us, we currently volunteer with a number of animal welfare organisations and are committed to continually expanding our knowledge through formal study, continuing professional development and practical experience.
One of the values at the heart of CHOC is that learning never stops. Animal care is constantly evolving, and we believe the people caring for animals should evolve too. That's why we actively invest in our education, maintain our certifications and seek out opportunities to learn from experienced professionals across the animal care community.
